Sad state of affairs

I took apart my screen and replaced the inverter but the screen still flickers.  After more research I discovered that the CCFL backlight could also be the issue.  So I ordered a replacement lamp for £10.00 and proceeded to dismantle the screen to remove the CCFL backlight successfully.  Silly me, I busted the new CCFL and so ordered another and this would be the last time as I can't afford to keep this beast running like this.
