I Want to Screen

I've got a problem - it's my IBM T60 LCD Screen (13N7050). It keeps flickering and decides to switch itself off without any warning. As I write this, it is flickering and annoying the hell out of me. I've been working on the lowest brightness setting for a little over 2 weeks now and I'm sure it's not doing my eyes any good.

Anyway, after loads of research and having taken my screen apart to obtain part numbers and determine if anything is actually broken. My findings point to a dodgy inverter (41W1010) which costs only £10 to replace - a worthwhile fix if it'll do the job as I can't possibly afford to replace the entire screen which is a meagre £100. An update will come once the parts arrive
